Michael is the Chief Risk Officer at Cairn, which he joined in 2010, and is responsible for managing risk across all of its products and platforms. He is also responsible for the development of the firm’s controls, analysis and risk reporting capabilities and contributes significantly to the development of its technology platform. Michael has more than 15 years’ experience in capital markets risk management. Prior to joining Cairn, he was Managing Director and Head of Market Risk at AIG Financial Products. Prior to that, he served as a quantitative analyst for UBS Securities in their Global Equity Derivatives group.
